Could someone please mark this English description for me, I really need a second opinion.?
We had to describe something, I chose a garden. To get the higher marks we needed to change the mood at some point. My grade stays the same with this piece, could someone, preferably someone who has taught GCSE English, give me a grade and their opinions. This is now my sixth draft and I have put so many hours in and can’t improve.
In the midst of a beryl landscape, surrounded by rolling hills, lies a cherished paradise. Ostracized from the hub of day to day life, this sanctuary is thriving in isolation. From all corners, sounds radiate like ripples on a pond: twittering robins, rustling leaves, the whistling of wind. Altogether they flood the garden with sweet, mellifluous music. Listening to the melodies are the gargantuan trees, adorned with a dappled amber glow; branches entwine like D.N.A strands to form a sturdy ledge for creatures in need of a rest; complementing their stay are ripe fruits which are there to take as one desires. To attract the wildlife, an extravagant coat of emerald greenery adorns by the mighty protectors.
Positioned on the borders, an array of cerulean, cerise and crimson shades thrive, resembling a stain glass window. Cascading along the perimeter, grand roses stand proud: guards to their territory. Behind the roses, the centre of this arrangement is enriched with vibrant pansies; these privates, although bottom of the hierarchy, are ready to assist the roses in fending off all threats to the harmony of the flowerbed. On the outskirts, daisies are on a constant lookout for danger, ready to alert their companions. Other vegetation congregates so close together that a canopy is formed; insects soon take advantage of this and change the area to their liking by constructing homes and harvesting the available supplies.
A fluent stream composes melodies for the creatures it houses. On the water

I have a lot of phobias and sometimes panic disorders?
I’m scared of a lot of things. From robbers to insects to falling. A lot of my fears connect to my central fear of death. I have not suffered from trauma of another persons death or even a near-death experience. I’m just plain scared. I’ll be home by myself and hear my house creek and lock myself in the bathroom for an hour thinking a robber is out to kill me. Sometimes, for no reason, my body will go hot-and-cold and my heart will race just thinking about it. I’ve asked my parents to take me to a therapist because I hate living like this, but they think I’m exaggerating.
Please, help me!
Answer me this, how old are you? reach out to someone else you can trust other than your parents then. sometimes it’s hard for parents to accept that their child is having issues. my father never believed that i had anxiety disorder either because his daughter couldn’t be anything remotely close to mentally unstable. are you close to any teachers? or any other adult? if not you can stick it out till you’re 18 then get help IMMEDIATELY

Well you need a therapist. Go talk to your School Counselor. You could go to a Counseling Clinic and ask for help. Tell them that you mother does not believe you. They may call the police and this can start the ball rolling. You could call Child Protective Service tell them your problem. Call the Suicide line.

What's song from the Bourne Supremacy/Ultimatum?
It’s the same song, but i can’t find it anywhere.
Supremacy-It’s the song in the beginning about 16 min into the movie (where guy gets out of the car and chases them) right before the girl gets shot.
Ultimatum-a little after 26 min into the movie, after the guy gets shot and Bourne chases the assassin.

Anybody seen the movie "population 436"?
Are there really towns like that?
If there is, then that’s just freaky!
Sure there are! Just watch these movies:
Vacancy
Darkness Falls
The Spring (2000)
The Lottery (1996)
Whispers and Lies
Disturbing Behavior
Children of the Corn
The Cars That Ate Paris
The Last Bride of Salem
The Stepford Wives (original only!)
The Dark Secret of Harvest Home (TV miniseries)
Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King, "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band"
You’ll also find them in the "Night Visions" episode "Harmony" and "Rest Stop".
On the good side, there’s the musical "Brigadoon", starring Gene Kelly and Cyd Charise. In that case, it’s an enchanted Scottish village that no one may leave~except for the outsiders who happen upon it.
These scary, out-of-the-way towns are popular in fiction. Of course, there just might be some places out there that might qualify as spooky though I’ve never encountered them in all my travels. Shirley Jackson’s short story "The Lottery" has been the main source of inspiration for Stephen King, Thomas Tryon and many other writers. H.P. Lovecraft also specializes in creepy little towns.

I don’t think there are really towns like that. I’m sure that they just made it up for the movie.

How much should I be eating?
I’m a 15 year old female
on a daily basis i eat:
breakfast: 2-3 slices of honey wheat light toast with margarine and an orange and raspberries
snack: about 15 almonds
lunch: a turkey sandwich on multi-grain/sourdough bread with reduced fat swiss cheese and carrits
snack: coffee with a cup of milk (skim mixed with a little whole milk), an apple with wheat germ, a small treat (today it was one girl scout trefoil cookie that only has about 30 calories)
dinner: tonight it was chicken lo mein with whole-grain noodles and vegetables (it was made with a few tablespoons of oil though). other nights it’s something such as baked chicken dishes or a really hearty bean and pasta soup
dessert: usually a scoop of frozen yogurt, sugar-free rice pudding, or a piece of dark chocolate, etc.
I run a few days a week and do a lot of walking.
I’m looking to maintain weight (117 pounds at 5′3.5") or lose only a little bit
How much should I be eating? And what should I be eating?
I hate it when girls obsess over every calorie and everything they eat has to be converted to "how much I have to burn". A little flab is cute!

Is there a connection between the Point Pleasant "Mothman" and the "owl creature" in Nome, Alaska?
There does seem to be a bit of a government cover-up with regards to missing people in Nome, Alaska and UFO alien abduction phenomenon as well as the Point Pleasant Mothman prophecies creature. Are these more than just extra-terrestrial beings given their metaphysical nature?

Longish q – My daughter saw her "friends" playing outside. One went inside and the mother inviited the other?
friend in…leaving my daughter out. My daughter has some learning difficulties…we really had to realize that today. How can I best protect her from that kind of cruelty again? I played outside with her until the little boy came out, and his father made a point to let them play…but the damage was done. Do I keep her away from this child and the cruel mother…who is typically this way…or, let her find her way with it?
Let her know some people are just cruel and she is better than them.
Tigger | Feb 08, 2010
They say kids are cruel but I firmly believe it stems from the parents…I know I’d definitely pull aside a few minutes to talk to the other mother (or slap her) as it seems they are in the neighbourhood and your little one is growing up there and these "friends" could end up being the best of,let the kids be kids but teach the parents some life lessons while you can…xxx
When it comes to the kids, they usually find their way, like I said,it’s the parent who cause the friction
slave2luv xxx | Feb 08, 2010
Yeah, nice old hide isn’t she.. I’m in agreement with both answers of course, but confrontation won’t really solve anything, it may even heighten it, so blow her a kiss and steer clear of her as much as you can, telling your beautiful daughter that they have a mental disability called ogre ism.
