Could someone please mark this English description for me, I really need a second opinion.?
We had to describe something, I chose a garden. To get the higher marks we needed to change the mood at some point. My grade stays the same with this piece, could someone, preferably someone who has taught GCSE English, give me a grade and their opinions. On the outskirts, daisies are on a constant lookout for danger, ready to alert their companions. What kind of doctor do I need to see to remove this knot from my forehead?
I have a knot on my forehead that I’ve had since I was 4 years old. I’m currently 18 and in college. I’ve been wanting to get it removed my entire life but my mom wouldn’t let me. Thing is, it’s very self esteem lowering and it’s about Half-dollar sized over my right eye. Since I’m in college, I figure I can use the money from my refund check to have the surgery. I actually have 2 of them but the one over my left eye is pretty small. They both came from when I bumped my head. Anyway I was trying to figure out what kind of doctor I need to see (like a plastic surgeon or something), what the procedure is called, and possibly the cost of the operation, and how long it would take to heal. Also, the knots are pure bone I’ve read some people say that theirs are moveable, but mine is not. It basically two immobile lumps on my skull. A small one one the left and a huger, noticeable one on the right side.

I’d suggest a plastic surgeon. Also, make sure you don’t choose one based strictly on price – but make sure the person has satisfied patients. Look the doctor up at your state’s medical board to make sure the doctor has no complaints lodged against him. This may be costly depending on how it’s performed and if you need an anesthesiologist or not , and outpatient at a free-standing clinic vs. requiring a hospital.

I’m happy for you you’ve made a decision to help yourself. I wish your mom had been understanding about the self-esteem issue. Perhaps financially it was an impossibility.

I don’t know anything about the procedure required, but I wish you luck and a swift satisfying recovery.

If they were caused by being hit by something then these things have to be knotted muscles there. Before you run off to have someone cut press hard on them and hold the pressure there for one minute. If they don’t release then I guess it would be off to a plastic surgeon. I just don’t know why they wouldn’t release though for I have have done that same thing for calcium deposits on my foot and the pressure made them release and go away. You have to admit it would be nicer than being cut on and a lot cheaper as well.

I have a lot of phobias and sometimes panic disorders?
I’m scared of a lot of things. From robbers to insects to falling. A lot of my fears connect to my central fear of death. I have not suffered from trauma of another persons death or even a near-death experience. I’m just plain scared. I’ll be home by myself and hear my house creek and lock myself in the bathroom for an hour thinking a robber is out to kill me. Sometimes, for no reason, my body will go hot-and-cold and my heart will race just thinking about it. Well you need a therapist. Go talk to your School Counselor. You could go to a Counseling Clinic and ask for help. Tell them that you mother does not believe you. They may call the police and this can start the ball rolling. You could call Child Protective Service tell them your problem. Call the Suicide line.

Snowed in and out of cat food! What can I feed him?
I’m in Virginia, and we’ve gotten hit really badly by this snow storm this week. It’s still coming down as I type this out, my dad estimates there are 4-5 inches at the moment. However, I ran out of cat food this morning right before the snow storm started and I don’t know what to feed my cat. Normally he eats the dog’s food if he feels "hungry" during the day (although I don’t see why he should considering he gets half a can of wet food and 1/4 cup dry food twice a day), but I gave him some in his dish today and he won’t eat it! I feel like such a bad kitty mommy, but I can’t help that we’re "snowed in" by Eastern Shore standards (and of course today was payday so I couldn’t get out any sooner). What can I give my cat until I can get out and get him some more cat food?

We do have turkey slices, and chicken breasts…but I’m not sure what else he could eat. Please help! He’s not starving by any means but I need to ease my own guilt I guess, so to speak.

Your cat can eat any raw meat. He can eat cooked meat too in a pinch if it’s not very seasoned. If he’s hungry enough he will eat. I’d not worry about it. I laugh when 4 inches snows you in. It’s just another day for me.

Of course you can feed your cat turkey and chicken and other meats, its as if they were hunting in the wild. And although in the long run you can’t give your cat this for a long length of time, you can give your cat Tuna. Some cats even like vegetables. I once knew a cat who liked corn on the cob. Just some ideas for you.

You can feed him chicken breast (chopped or shredded) mixed with a small amount of boiled white or brown rice with some mixed vegetables. You want the rice and the vegetables to be quite soft. Add a tiny bit of salt, if you like, but try to see if he’ll eat it without the salt. This should work for a few days,and a little goes a long way.

In an emergency, whatever he will eat is fair game. If you have options, stay away from Tuna and Milk. Tuna can cause urinary tract infection (crystals), especially in male cats, and milk cannot be absorbed by their delicate digestive system (can cause loose bowels).

You can temporarily feed chicken, tuna, turkey, beef or fish. (that has not been seasoned)
No dairy, tomatoes, chocolate, grapes, cheese, sugar or anything greasy or fried, and stay away from vegetables as it will upset their stomachs.

When I had cats I used to let them have, Yogurt, Tuna, Milk, Ice Cream and Goat milk.
Skim milk is also good. 1% milk can also be fed.
and spaghetti sauce is good for their urinary system.

Dog food fed to a cat is very unhealthy. Given to him over a prolonged period of time can cause him to get sick and possibly die. As for right now…..chicken is fine. If you are going out tomorrow to get cat food he will be fine with that. Stop worrying.

you can give him ,.any one or combination of the following items.
Tuna-Drained
raw egg
Boiled chicken breast. shredded into small pieces
The sliced turkey-shredded- only small amount as it is rich for him
white rice.
When I say shredded ,this is how I do it.,. I cut it up, then smash it between thumb and first two fingers,. it makes it kinda like mushy shreds ,easier for a cat .
IF you have canned salmon,drain it
If you have potted meat -this is ok also
sometimes scrambled eggs are good. NO SALT No seasoning
Remember any human food is not all that good for animals as we tend to put a lot of extras in. Hope the storm passes and everything turns out ok.. stay safe,.

Just to follow up on some of the other comments . . . Dairy products are not good for cats and cause cats gastrointestinal problems. Tuna is also supposed to be bad for cats. Small amounts of turkey and chicken are probably your best bet. Keep in mind that cats have very small stomaches and will only need a small amount of food. Most house cats are overfed and over-weight. My cats also like to eat avocado.
