How am I doing on my diet?
ok! I workout everyday 40 minutes-1 hour.

Today-I worked out for 1 hour. A mixture of cardio,abs,strength. I’m using a biggest loser workout video. I’m worried I’m eating too much or not enough. I weigh 170 pounds…I’m trying to LOSE weight.

Help me, please?!? My fiance lost his mother recently, and last night, he had a set back…?!?
Ok, well, I’m 22, and fiance, Jakob, who’s 23, just lost his mom right before Christmas. He was really close with his mom… His dad died when he was only 2, so he was raised by only his mother. He’s a bit more on the feminine side because of this, but he’s also able to express his emotions, and understand mine, better than any other guy I’ve met, which I love. Anyways, he doesn’t even have ANY other extended family, or siblings, either… I’m the only one he has in his life, now, so I’ve really tried to be there for him. He’s gotten very clingy since he lost his mom. Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally fine with it, because I understand that he feels alone lately; he’s orphaned, without any other family, so obviously he’s going to be clingy with me…

Well, he’s been starting to smile a little and joke around again, which makes me really happy… but last night, my friend and I were at a dance convention, and I hurt my ankle and my wrist (I landed very unbalanced, and fell on my hand, and my ankle twisted)… she took me to the hospital and it turns out both my wrist and ankle are broken… but this was at almost midnight, and I had told Jakob I’d be home around 10:30. He called my cell phone a bunch of times, but obviously I didn’t know he was calling, and didn’t pick up. They put a cast on both, and I got sent home at almost 4 am. Jakob was awake, and he was freaking out. As soon as I came in, and my friend walked out the door, Jakob had a meltdown. He told me he thought something had happened to me and he might lose me, and have no one. He told me he sat in the living room staring at the wall, trying not to break down the entire night, because he thought he was going to be alone. It took about 45 minutes to get him to completely calm down, and stop crying. After that, he helped me into bed, but laid there awake for a long time (I did too because my ankle was bothering me). I finally got him to fall asleep around 6 am after gently running my fingers through his hair for almost an hour. He woke up at 8:30 am to make me breakfast, and all today, he was practically a zombie. He’s exhausted, his eyes are puffy from crying, and he has dark circles under his eyes. I don’t know what to do… I thought he was on the mend, but I feel like last night set him back a lot… What can I do to help him? What do I say?!
Ok, I understand I should have called him, and I feel bad, but they got me in right away, and cells had to be off in there, and I didn’t realize the time until after they had put on the casts and everything, so I didn’t think to tell my friend to call him.

Do I break up with my girlfriend?
Let me start of by saying I love my girlfriend to death. She’s my best friend, but she has become sort of power hungry. It’s our one year anniversary February 2nd.She became very eco-friendly, strongly opposing hunting, and turned vegetarian. She also became anti-videogame as well. We’ve had a few minor disagreements in the past, but the hunting thing really drove a nail between us. I ended up not even shooting the brand new, very expensive rifle my father had bought me just for her. We have had our future together planned for a while, but things are catching up to me. Another thing she was upset about was that she told me I had too strong of an emotional connection to my best friend, and would be extremely upset if I even talked about him. She also says that were going to be vegetarian. I love her to death and have changed a lot for her but its catching up to me. Oh, and one more thing, she hates my entire family but me and my grandmother. I’ve been trying to change, I cut almost all ties with my best friend, given up Xbox (for the most part, she gets reall super angry if she finds out Im even on), given up my passion of hunting and fishing, and if we end up staying together I’ll be a vegetarian. But late at night my old needs keep coming back to haunt me. I still want to hunt and fish and eat meat. But I love her, and I’m just really confused. It feels like I dont have any freedom I guess. Anybody have any advice at all?
BTW I was reading a Halo book today at school (Ghost of Onyx) and she got really upset with me about that. I freaking love her but don’t know what to do.

It’s tough because this could be a phase in her life, but you know her better than me of course. If she seems pretty set in her new ways then I would definitely break up with her. You are your own person and she is her own person, but if you are going to be together then you have to kind of blend. Otherwise, it will never work. It has to work both ways too. So you are accepting of her new ways, but she seems to be totally against yours and that’s not fair for her to ask so much considering you are the same person you were when you met and she is the one that changed. You need to have a talk with her, and avoid the word "you" as much as possible and focus more on how to make "us" work. Make sure you explain everything you are feeling to her, being honest is the best thing to do.

The way I deal with important issues like this is to write a letter expressing everything! Then you never have those "Oh crap! I forgot to say this!" You can read over your letter and add and subtract things, then read to it her or let her read it and then talk about it.

I think maybe you should talk to her about this. i don’t think you should make a decision on this and just break up with her. i think you should tell her honestly that your family and friends are important to you. and while you respect her decision to be vegetarian, you are not ready to make that kind of commitment, but if she is willing to respect your autonomy, you would love to get to know her new morals.

It is best to be completely honest with her. Tell her that you love her, but you’ve grown into two different people with different interests. Tell her that at this point in time in your life, you are not willing or ready to give up the things in life that make you who you are. If you stayed together, your heart would just not be in it. She needs to be with someone that shares her passions, or else she will never be truly happy with you. Tell her you think her passions are beautiful and you respect them, and that is why you don’t think you should be together. It just would not be fair to either one of you.

You may be willing to give up everything you care about(including family for Christ sake) for her, but she clearly doesn’t love you enough to make any sacrifices for you. Its all about a common middle ground. If she has changed all of a sudden, chances are great that she will change back, but at the same time, she is trying to exert control over you, and a healthy relationship isn’t about that. You seem like a sharp guy, so you already know this.

I think you know what you need to do. You love to hunt, fish, and play videogames.(I think we’d get along) I do believe there are other women out there that would tolerate these activities and allow you to do things you enjoy.

One year is only the start of your relationship. Do you want the rest of your life to be controlled as well. If someone loves you enough then they shouldn’t try and change you at all, as they fell in love with you for how you were then. You also shouldn’t have to give up the things you love doing for anyone. I have a friend who is a vegetarian and her husband eats meat so that shouldn’t make any difference either. As for your best friend, everyone needs friends, what if you break up and you no longer have your best friend, also you need male bonding. Finally, it must make it hard if she doesn’t like any of your family members, too me that is just not fair on you. I would rethink my relationship if I was you and work out the pros and cons. Hey, that was nothing to what Gore is predicting. Of course he has a vested interest in promoting Global Warming as he is heavily invested in Green tech and selling carbon credits.
My big problem with the whole thing is blaming man for it and then trying to redistribute wealth in the name of "saving the planet" when their own predictions show little to no affect on warming..
THey also don’t tell the benefits of global warming, like longer growing seasons to produce more food. Also, warmer weather, which makes things grow faster, also makes the trees keep their leaves longer, the grass stay green longer, and go through photosynthesis process longer. What is photosynthesis you ask, the process where plants convert carbon dioxide to oxygen. Isn’t carbon dioxide that they say causes global warming? Wasn’t it also CFC’s that caused the Ozone hole that was the big thing 20 years ago. I guess they fixed that because you don’t hear about that anymore, mainly because they found out the ozone hole has a side affect they don’t want to discuss, it keeps the ice from melting in the artics.

I think in these days and times a twelve and a half year old could watch any James Bond movie. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t see or hear anything worse than he does at his school, or especially in the movies today. Love the James Bond movies myself, and think (though no slight to the new guy) that they made a dreadful mistake getting rid of Pierce Brosnan–he was second best bond to Sean Connery.

How can I get clear skin so I don't have to wear foundation and concealer to get 'flawless' skin?
I’m fed up of my foundation rubbing off on my clothes, on my son’s forehead when he presses his head against mine. Basically I’m fed up wearing foundation, it wearing off and having to reapply it through the day.

use powder instead of foundation and stop worrying about the "illusion" of perfect skin.

I have not worn foundation for years because I could not stand the feel of it, and I got tired of trying to match my skin tone and worrying about the streaks, etc…..life is too short.

Okay, well I don’t have acne but I have a little bit of uneven color around my cheeks so I use liquid foundation that goes on sort of like lotion and it’s not powdery. When I use this I don’t reapply because it doesn’t come off until you actually wash your face.

You can also try Proactive to get clearer skin. My mom has it and apparently it works great for her.

It’s really difficult to accomplish that. Depending on your problems, go to a dermatologist to see what they recommend. Sometimes the only way to have naturally flawless skin is to get procedures done like microdermabrasion to get rid of any scars, spots, etc on your face. In the meantime, make sure you exfoliate regularly and moisturize.

If you don’t want to wear too much foundation, try a tinted moisturizer. That would give you some coverage but isn’t too much that it would noticeably rub off.

Otherwise, try Revlon Colorstay or Rimmel Lasting Finish foundations. These foundations are long lasting and simply do NOT rub off. So you can have that flawless look and it will stay flawless until you decide to remove your makeup.

a nice healthy tan from the SUN can really give you a nice glow and hides all flaws.
it is also good for you too, as long as you dont sit in the sun everyday. The diffrence between going on an artificial sunbed and getting a real tan, is that a sun tan lasts so much longer, because it goes deep into the skin, giving you a fantastic glow, while sunbeds just damage the top layer, make sure you wear suncream though.
Many people think that sun is bad, it is not, we need the sun, we would die without it, its just NOT alright to sit in it all the time. Sit in the sun half an hour a day, and increase the time to one hour ect….
Thats why i cant wait until the summer, get a nice healthy tan that lasts a long time

my best advice would be to either start wearing a tinted moisturizer which gives super light coverage but won’t rub off, or to get a new brand of foundation. personally, i like revlon colorstay. it’s awesome. it DOES NOT come off, even without primer under it.

speaking of which, that might be another thing to try. foundation primer is a really important step to making your makeup last all day. i use hard candy sheer envy primer – about $6 at walmart – and my makeup looks like i just applied it after wearing it for 8 hours.

another option would be to opt for a powder foundation. those are much less likely to rub off than a liquid. cover girl aqua smooth is a good one, and so is maybelline dream matte powder.
